Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon

Hawkeye, Vol. 1: My Life as a Weapon - Matt Fraction, David Aja, Javier Pulido

It's been a long time since I read anything in the Marvel universe, but I've heard so much buzz about the new Hawkeye over the past year that I decided to pick it up. So glad I did! The writing is engaging, witty, and fun. This is a much more modern voice than the comics of yore. Clint is amusing and likable, and I even liked Kate (Hawkeye from the Young Avengers). I also have to say that the art style in the issues illustrated by Aja was absolutely fantastic. I'm glad to see that he continues to draw for the series, even if he doesn't do every issue. I plan to pick up the second book and keep reading the series - I'm officially a fan.
