Soulbound - Heather Brewer

I loved Brewer's Vladimir Tod series, so I was really excited to pick up this book (even though I hadn't cared much for her foray into the Slayer chronicles). I pre-ordered my copy and couldn't wait to clear some time in my reading list to devour it. Imagine my chagrin when it left me wanting. There was a lot of potential in this story, but it just wasn't done well. I don't know what happened. The pacing was choppy and strange, the writing sub-par, and so many opportunities were missed while less interesting facets were overexplored. I'm sad. I'm a big fan of Brewer, but I'm not a fan of this book.
